Across the Nation and Back. A fellow University of Maryland med student took a year off to pursue what I would consider insanity. He's biking clear across the US and back, coast to coast, to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Read his website to gain more info on why he's doing this and who he's raising money for. He even has a weblog (sorta) of his trip. By the way, he is not to be confused with my radio buddy Jeffrey T. Mason (what a coincidence!).
